of Lincoln have been
drawn towards using a storage container for the site of an art exhibition.
We feel this is a unique space to show our work and we are excited at the possibility of having the chance to engage with it.
The theme of our exhibition is to be “Hidden”. The storage container (a concealed space) is the perfect location to respond to our chosen theme. We intend on having an exhibition whereby our pieces themselves will be hidden within the container. The storage container is the perfect location for this theme as they are used to store items away, out of sight.
The exhibition will challenge the way in which the space is usually used as instead of storing items away, viewers will be encouraged to explore the container to find the art works. By placing our pieces within this space, people will be encouraged to engage with a space which is often unnoticed. The viewers shall be given torches to enable them to discover and view the works of art.
